Cindy Ford
Cindy Ford joined the travel industry in 2009 to further pursue her increasing passion for travel and to experience more exciting destinations and cultures. She is a part-time Travel Advisor while still holding a full-time career.
Along with an extensive business background, Cindy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University, and since joining the travel industry has earned her Certified Travel Consultant (CTC) designation through the Association of Canadian Travel Agents (ACTA), attainable only after several years of industry experience, ongoing education and training.
Her niche is luxury vacation for adults, as that is how she and her husband love to travel. As a Certified Sandals Specialist (CSS), Cindy is proud to be working with a Platinum Sandals Agency. She has vacationed at most Sandals resorts, as well as numerous other adult luxury properties in the Caribbean, however she also loves to plan family/friend getaways to any destination!
Cindy travels several times a year for both personal vacation and ongoing industry education. She has travelled to numerous Caribbean destinations including the Bahamas, Antigua, Jamaica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Saint Lucia, Turks and Caicos, Grenada and Barbados as well as various destinations in the United States including Hawaii. She has firsthand experience with several celebrated cruises lines as well as River Cruising. Her most recent European ventures have taken her to Croatia, Greece, Italy, Germany, France and the Netherlands.
When not working, Cindy enjoys spending quiet time with her husband and dog, and hitting the gym for a good workout. She takes pride in helping her clients plan a vacation which will provide a lifetime of memories, and also enjoys arranging her own memorable family getaways!
